Steel City Screen Print started the way the best shops do: with an artist who couldn't find anyone good enough to print his own designs. After 15 years behind the squeegee and a nationwide run selling at markets, concerts, and festivals, we settled in Birmingham and opened a shop that matches the standard we set for ourselves.
We print for bands, businesses, churches, nonprofits, and anyone else who wants merch people actually keep. Our in-house design team can take your idea from napkin sketch to finished print, and our press handles everything from simple one-colors to complex 12+ color builds other shops won't touch.

25 pieces for orders with 3 or fewer colors. 50 pieces for 4+ color designs. We keep minimums low so bands, startups, and small businesses can get quality prints without overcommitting.
Standard turnaround is 7 to 10 business days after art approval. Rush orders are available if you need them faster. We'll always give you a realistic timeline upfront so you're never guessing.
Both. We stock a wide range of blank brands (Comfort Colors, Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, and more) and can order specialty blanks. You can also supply your own garments if you have a preferred brand.
No problem. Send us a sketch, a reference image, or just describe what you're going for. We'll handle the art preparation and send you a mockup before anything hits a screen.
That's what we live for. We regularly run 6, 8, even 12+ color prints with tight registration. Complex work is where we separate ourselves from shops that stick to basics.
